COASTAL CORVETTE ASSOCIATION BY LAWS

 

ARTICLE 1: Name: This organization shall be known as Coastal Corvette Association.

ARTICLE 2: Officers: The elected officers of this organization shall be President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, and Board Members (which are made up of past Presidents or CCA representatives for the NCM and SERC. The term of office shall be from June 1st through May 31st. Officer elections shall be held at the regular meeting in May.

ARTICLE 3: Purpose: The purpose of this organization is to be a fun family club and to learn more about Corvettes by meeting other "Vette" people.

ARTICLE 4: MEMBERSHIP

Section 1: Membership in the organization shall require as a prerequisite either ownership or a desire to own a Corvette of any style or model.

Section 2: There will be two classes of membership: Full Family Membership with voting privileges and an Associate Membership for those who presently do not own a Corvette or who live out of town but would like to receive the newsletter. Associate Members do not have voting privileges.

Section 3: Each membership will represent two votes, one for each husband and wife. Friends and guests shall not vote.

Section 4: Membership dues in the organization will be $25.00 per year for Full Membership and $12.50 per year for Associate Membership. An additional fee of $10.00 will be required to cover the cost of one official name tag for each new applicant. Renewal for each year shall be due June 1st and extends through the following May 31s. If a new member joins in March, April, or May their dues will carry through May 31st of the following year. Dues become delinquent one month after the renewal date and non payment within 60 days will result in automatic termination of membership.

Section 5: Any member may have their membership terminated for bringing discredit on the Association or for any other cause as may be determined by the officers and Board of Directors as being in the best interest of the club.

 

ARTICLE 5: Amendments of the By Laws: These laws may be amended by the affirmation vote of two thirds of the members in good standing present and voting at any regular or special meeting of the organization called by Officers and Board Members of the club.

 

NON PROFIT STATUS: Dues are collected solely to cover the cost of our mailing expenses and any expenses involved in arranging CCA sponsored events. CCA is a Non-Profit organization and is not affiliated with any national organization.
